I’ve got love on my mind
Hello Heartbeats, this week I want to encourage you to stay in a posture of love. You know love is a small word, but packed with so much power. Love is so powerful that it can conqueror all! So as you’re out and about this weekend, spread love. Choose to walk in love and spread the love of Jesus with everyone you encounter. Every day we are presented with the opportunity, but we don’t always take it. So today seize the moment to walk in love. Instead of speeding up while driving, let that car over. Instead of giving attitude back when it’s given to you, smile and give a compliment. Hold the door for someone and don’t expect a thank you. Pay for someone’s lunch. It will only take you seconds to walk in love and spread the love of Jesus. But for the person receiving it, it could last a lifetime and cause them to run to Jesus. God loved you so much that He gave His only begotten son that when you believed in Him you would not perish, but gain everlasting life. That’s a HUGE demonstration of love in action.
So I’m challenging you to rise above what you would normally do and go above and beyond in sharing the love of Jesus. It’s what’s needed in the world right now. Your acts of kindness and gestures of love towards someone could be their turning point. It could be the very thing needed in their life to tear down the walls of hate and allow the love of Jesus into their heart. Remember you have the power to change the atmosphere. So keep love on your mind and let’s win this world for Jesus!
